Ohio State’s own Dr. Linda James Myers, Professor Emeritus in the Department of African American and African Studies, is internationally known for her work in the development of a theory of Optimal Psychology.

 

She earned an Outstanding Teaching Award from OSU’s College of Art and Sciences and has served as president of the Association of Black Psychologists and as Chairman of the Board of Directors for the National Association for the Education of African American Children with Learning Disabilities.
